Amy Poehler replacing Jimmey Fallon on SNL = B S!!
Does anyone else think it was a horrable Idea to appoint Amy Poehler as anchor on "Weekend Update" The only reason I watched it was because of Jimmey Fallon. Bull Shit.

Thats why I watch Mad TV instead, its the only thing decent in comparison.

Tonite was a New Episode.
I agree with that Mad TV thing. I usually tape Mad Tv if i am not home. Or I will switch to SNL during Commercial. Glad I am not Alone. Ever since Will Farrel (and other people) that show is not all that good to me. But I will say that Jimmey Fallon was Hilarious in 90% of his skits; including Weekend Update.

1. Norm Macdonald was and is the only good Weekend Update anchor

MAD TV > SNL
SNL has gotten to the point that they think everything has to have some social/political relevance to be funny. MAD is just some good old fashion off the wall ****.  However, the red carpet interviews that they do on MAD TV were alot better when they had Will Sasso and Alex Borstein doing them. Too bad that Sasso is on some lame ass sitcom but, Borstein is off recording THE NEW SEASON OF FAMILY GUY! WOO HOO!

Mad Tv hasn't been funny since the original cast... you know back when Will Sasso was fat as hell, and before they started trying to copy SNL with guestt stars and live music.
And as far as weekend update... well i'll always be a Colin Quinn fan.
