Should I call a priest?

I have 96 2.3l Ranger w/ 205,000 miles on it. It's great truck, don't get me wrong. But lately it has been acting qute bizarre, electrically. It's been occasionally telling me I have a door ajar for a couple of months, very annoying. And the past week or so I have a problem with my headlights not working, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. And then two days ago I was at work when my alarm went off for no reason at all, and no i did not hit the panic button on the fob, iwas'nt even near my keys. And they were'nt close enough to the truck to have set it off. Does anyone have any ideas as to a link?

Take it to a good electrical shop or, better yet, a good dealership shop. I had a floating ground on a '95 Ford that eluded two different electrical shops, but the dealership mechanic found it in about 20 minutes, tightened one screw, and solved the problem.
