burago 1/21 ford f150 lightning

Hey. I'm new to 1:18 scale car modeling. I was wondering how i could swap my rims for some dubs. I've tried, but i still can't figure out how to remove the wheels. Can someone give me some advice on modding or removing the wheels?

Re: burago 1/21 ford f150 lightning

Take apart the car and remove the entire wheel assembly. Most buragos just have screws which sandwich the engine and interior between the chassis and metal. They shouldn't be too hard to take apart just do it slowly and see where the resistance is coming from. Every car can be taken apart it just takes patience.

Then check out the tutorial section at the top of the forum here on AF and you can follow my guide to installing dubs. There are other methods, mine is just the one I suggest :P

Re: burago 1/21 ford f150 lightning

Follow these steps:

1. Open your internet browser

2. Type in www.automotiveforums.com in the address bar.

3. Press enter and wait for it to load.

3. Click the top link that says forums.

4. Once the page loads click Automotive Art.

5. After Automotive Art loads, click Diecast Car Collecting.

6. Once the page loads, read the threads labeled Important.

7. Now click the IMPORTANT sticky that says Tutorials.

8. Once it loads, read through the tutorials on how to take off wheels.

If you follow these steps you wont get a wonderful batch of cookies, but a gold star for being a good newbie and reading the FAQ and Tutorials, instead of posting a topic that has been covered 800 times.
