Type R Block/GSR Head
I'm thinking about buying a type r short block and mating it to my gsr head. Has anybody on this forum done this? I want to know of any complications. Also I'm planning on installing type r camshafts on my head.

Re: Type R Block/GSR Head
You're talking about an Integra Type R block right? If so, there will (should) be absolutely no problems at all.

Re: Type R Block/GSR Head
I would just get a B16A head and drop in some ITR cams. If you use the stock B18C1 head and cams the motor will be under cammed.

Re: Type R Block/GSR Head
or just put some itr or ctr cams in the gsr head. since the gsr head has lower cc's, itll bump the compression.
or gsr longblock with itr pistons and cams... |
