1978 Regal

i'm looking at buying a 1978 Regal limited, can anyone help me out on finding some info, i will have to convert it to right hand drive, because i'm in australia and to drive a LHD car it has to be over 30 years old...anyway i need to know if they have rack and pinion steering?

they do NOT have rack and pinion steering in 1978. Nice pic, by the way!
