truck is flooding out

Hi All,

I am not mechanically inclined so bare with me.

I have a 1990 F150 4X4 with dual tanks, 300 straight 6. Truck began to flood out. Will not idel apply slight pressure on peddle and it will run but it sputters and stalls. If you try giving it more gas it dies.

Replaced fuel pump in front tank which was the only one working anyway. Still no help.

Took it to mech. He checked the codes and replaced all bad sensors. This has not helped either.

Does anyone have any ideas? I have read a few post about not getting any fuel but there is nothing about getting to much.

The mech is at his wits end and so am I. He has had my truck for 3 months.

Thanks

Forgot to mention that when it first started this problem I could put a little gas in the breather intake and it would start. Ran lousy and then died. Even that stopped working.
