just did the fog light mod, with a unexpected good result!

So, I like to have my lights on all the time cause I think its safer to be more noticed, sort of like day time running lights, and also cause the eclipse looks mean as hell with the lights on!! However, since I just bought some expensive light bulbs(which are great by the way!) I kind of want to have them last as long as they can, so I don't want them on all the time and wear out faster. So I figure I might as well do the fog light mod so I can have my fogs on with my corner lights and just run my fogs instead of my headlights. So I did that this morning, real simple, took like 10mins. So I go to lock my car with my keyless remote, I get a surprise. Since the fogs now run on the corner/tail light relay, they now also flash with the corners and the tails, once when lock, twice when unlock, which looks really cool. I love it!!

Nice job! I completely agree. The foglight mod makes the car looks pretty damn mean. I guess that's why I've done it too . However, a nice front mount without those fogs would look even better

HAHA, I agree that a nice front mount without the fogs would look better, in fact I was thinking the same thing when I was looking at my car today, but sadly, being NA doesn't give me that option. Of course I could always go the rice way and just put one out front for the hell of it. Haha.
Now, being the overthinker that I am, will flashing the fogs everytime I lock/unlock hurt anything? I sure hope not.

I did this about a year ago and love it. It looks awesome around sunset, cruising with the top down.

I don't have any pics yet, I might take some tomorrow if I have time. I just have my stock fog lights, nothing special. But it looks really good with my need headlight bulbs since my headlights are really bright with blue/purple color, so at night it looks like the Lexus IS300 setup, with HIDs and yellow fogs. Yea, but its really cool though with the setup, I want to go drive more, but with finals coming up, I just don't have time.
