1992 fuel tank capacity

I'm checking my mpg on on my 1992 p.a. and i dont know of an easier way... so could anyone tell me how many gallons a tank will hold, while i drive it til it's empty ??? recently it seems to be using it up alot faster

An easier way (than your drive till empty method) to get your MPG figure:

1. Fill gas tank to top.
2. Reset your trip odometer.
3. Drive about 200 miles or more.
4. Fill gas tank to top again.
5. Note how many gallons it took (to tenths/gallon)
6. MPG= mileage gone/gallons replacement

Thats the best way, it's not good to run completely out of fuel. It can cause knocking, backfiring, and incomplete detonation. It also harms the fuel injectors to blow air out of them.
