Next Gen Mini Cooper S will be Turbocharged?

I was reading a European car magazine, and they had some spy shots of the next Gen Cooper S. Needless to say you couldn't tell much from the grainy photos and all the bags attached to the body, but they did say that the next Gen Cooper S would be a turbo instead of a supercharger. Does anyone have any updates on this, when it might be available in the US, how much power, what kind of gas mileage?

I'm not sure of the specs off the top of my head but if you go to
www.motoringfile.com it will give you info on the new mini engine
