How do I identify an si transmission?

"to tell if the tranny you have is a SI, look need the fill plug for a cast stamp. it will say something like PL3/A900 or PL3/9000

if there is an A and then 3 numbers its a DX if theres 4 numbers then its a SI." Quoted from GTA
