help on cv joints on 94 probe

I need help on replacing the right cv joint on a 94 Probe. Someone just told me that there was a need for a special tool to keep the spider gears from falling out. Is this right?

there is but you can do it the old timer way like I do and just saw the end to a broom handle off and stick it in there It works I promise.
