My car lately has been giving me a hard time. I go to start it and it stalls. Start it again and it stalls. I try to rev it up to 3000rpm, this time it doesn't stall but it wants to. It revs up to 3K and back down to 0 then back to 3K and 0 over and over again. So I tried to rev it up to 4K rpms. Well that worked but I had to keep it steady at 4K from 3-5 minutes before she would run on her own.
I thought maybe it was a cold start but Saturns don't have a cylinoid for that. Okay, so maybe it was my fuel pump. So, I take it into a Saturn Dealership on Wednesday. They keep it over night. Saturn called me at 10am to get approval to fix the coolant temperature sensor. Sure go right ahead no problem. So I get the car back at around noonish and I have to pay almost $300. $18 for the part might I add. Ok no big deal. (Of course I don't have a job at the moment so it really killed me) I get in my car and when I start it, it's fine but the car was definitely warmed up already when I looked at the temp gauge in the car. So I go home, park on the street b/c some idiot was blocking my garage. At around 11pm I finally go out to pull my car in the garage. Needless to say it was doing the same thing, start/stall/start/stall. It took my about 30 minutes to put the car inside. What could possibly be the problem? I really don't even think they looked at the fuel pump. I know people don't like working on my car b/c it's "sooped" up but come on. I'm paying for services and don't get results. It's not like I'm asking them to do this for free. Any ideas? NEED HELP. PLEASE.
