GT-R or Not?

Hey guys, I stumbled on this page today:

I stared at the pics long and hard and I knew something wasnt right.

So what is the problem with it, you ask?
I dont think it's a GT-R I think it's a GTS. Pay close attention to the rear pictures, and then compare them with these:


Both of the above are GTS.


What do you think? Do you think its a GT-R or GTS?

Thank God or "The AF god" I'm not the only one who thought that!

I was trying to convince my friend that something was wrong with that picture, when we compared it to the Apex'i GT-R.

If it drove by I'm sure no one would be able to tell, but standing still at a light or in a side-by-side picture comparision you can't miss it.

Then again my friend does have a 93' Stealth that he put 5 (count em) 5 F(*&$ PIN STRIPES that he put on himself!!!
I should have known that Igor would be the one to know.

As much as I love the Skyline, I don't see a difference. I posted a pic of an actual GT-R and compared both. They look identical. Is it because of the exhaust? I think it's a GT-R.

I'm TOPRPM.com webmaster. This car is a GT-R33. I wondering why do you think it's GTS. Do you think some one can spend that much on the engine can't buy a GTR !!!!!

My reason for thinking it's a GT-S is that from what I recall the GT-S was "rounder" (is that a word ) than the GT-R. Now of course I could be wrong as I haven't seen this car in real life. On closer inspection it may be. But again I recall that the GT-R has a more agressive and less rounded edge than the GT-S.

As for for the idea "Do you think some one can spend that much on the engine can't buy a GTR !!!!!". I have seen people do a lot of dumb things. aka riceboys. One guy bought a base model Acura/Honda Integra, had the car painted yellow and rebadged to look like an Integra Type R. Of course in the end the idiot could have gone out and bought a REAL Type-R for less than what he spent, so yes I think someone would and could go buy a GT-S and rebadge it to look like a GT-R.

Why? Go ask them.

More pictures and especially videos would be great.

BTW: TOPRPM, nice website no matter what the car turns out to be. Still a nice job.

I think the biggest reason for thinking this car is GTS because the front grill was removed. I will post newer pics with the front grill and I will try to arrange a race betwean the GT-R and a bike like 900CBR or R1...

I enjoy the site very much. The videos are very cool. But are you guys only interested about moding Japanese cars? I think it would be cool if we got to see some European cars. BTW, that GT-R vs. Bike thing sounds very nice also. Anyway, it really did look like a GTS to me. lol

i can't notice anything on those pictures to suggest that it's a gts... without seeing the car in flesh i'd say it's a gtr....

and those guards look pumped enough for me... if someone noticed anything ??? please point it out...
