98 HArd starting ...still

This is my second thread on this... 1998 Dodge ram 2500 95,000, Just tuned w/ the works. The longer it sits, the more cranks to turn it over. Used fuel cleaner in 3-4 tanks, not much better. Cleaned throttle body not any better. I bought a new throttle postion sensor and have NOT installed it yet and I am considering taking it back, after a guy at work came out with me and hit the bleeder valve on the fuel rail and air came out. So I clicked over (not cranked) the ignition a few times (to get fuel in) and its started right up. So now in the mornings, or sitting for over 4 hours, I will hit the "ON" ingintion 2-3 times and it pretty much starts up normal. He said "air is getting in through the seals in the fuel pump", sound right? Or is there another area air could be getting in? Or should I change out the sensor and go from there? Thanks in advance!

There's definitely air getting in somewhere, it's hard to say exactly where. I would start looking around the fuel pump area though yeah. If something is loose it should be obvious.
