my husband is spending around $170 on me, it was an early present since he left today for 70 days and I don't actually have it yet. But I'm getting my windows tinted for Christmas. Kinda lame, but I'm spoiled and have everything else I want... and besides it'll last longer than other things he could've decided to get me instead.

since this is the first christmas Ive actually hand a G/F Ill have to say shipping and handling so I could actually send the gift to her, butI made the gift myself so it has alot of sentamental value, at least I hope it does.

Wow, are you rich? Some of the best gifts I've ever received probrably cost less than ten bucks, but they were cool gifts from great people. Want to enjoy Christmas? Stop competing with money.

It depends. I think one year I was around 40 bucks and another year it was around 5K. It depends on what I like to surprise her with. I like to do the practical but unexpected.
Its not about the price (of course you don't want to break the bank) but the thoughts behind it.

I don't buy anything for my wife ... and she does not buy anything for me. We usually go out and buy something together. 2 yrs ago - big screen TV, last yr - upgraded home theatre, this year we are talking about an XBOX or maybe remote-starter for the car.

I actaully have no clue what to get my g/f this christmas. And being poor doesnt help either. What are you guys getting your wives/gf's that doesnt go over 150 bucks?
All she specified was that it CAN'T be: Stuffed animals, Pink, Purple, a hat of any kind, yellow gold, or chocolate. I was thinking white gold... but then i thought to myslef, why spend the dough on gold that looks like silver, when i can get silver instead?
