remote start problem
I just helped a buddy put a remote start on his '00 Suburban. Now, the traction control light sometimes comes on when he uses the remote to start it. I've heard of this happening before, but is there anyway to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Re: remote start problem
I'm not sure about the 2000 and how they are set up, but with the OBS(old body style) you would have problems with a remote start if the pink wire and the white wire did not have power when cranking the engine. You could also check the boards at www.the12volt.com as it specializes in stereo/security/remote starters, a quick search may get you a specific answer

Re: remote start problem
Yeah, you have to have BOTH ignition wires energized or the tranny will have a very short life.
