BMW 730i 1996

hii every one, I Hope i can get help from u.
I bought bmw 730i and its German specification, am trying to use the telephone.
1. how i can change the language to English in the telephone.
2. i tried to put sim card in the telephone set but its not responding, but when i put it at the back of the trunk, it works but i can make only emergency call from one touch bottom at the dash board.
but when i try to call from the headset, i get nothing..

so do any one can help me with this?

I manage to make it work, but i have problem, still i can't change the language in the telephone cardle, its still in german, but in NAV screen all the address book in english. maybe anyone can help me how to change the language in the cardle.

can any one tell me if i can replace the phone cardle if i can , which phone it can work and how i can install it?
i will really appreciate your comment and help here..
