im new to this forum and need help

Hi everyone i just bought a 94 740i and need help with a few things my car has over 140,000 miles on it there are a few problems which im trying to figur out
frist of which in the mornings on a cold start when i start it it will come on and then rpms will drop and the car will go off then when i start it again it will start and idle rough for about 10 minutes then when i start driving it it will make this big howling sound and the tranny wont shift well when the car gets warmed up everything goes away and run alright but when ever im stoped at a red light theres shaking going on not much but enough and sumtimes when i start it up theres this gray smoke comming out the exhaust pipe and cuzz of all this rough idling the car started leaking oil i take good care of it but i cant figur out what the problem is and its drinking gas like water especilly in the mornings when its cold thats the frist major problem second i just found out that my block is "nikasil" is that bad or good.second problem whenever i go over a bump theres a thumbing sound under me on my left side i cant figur that out either
Please help i like the car and i dont wanna give it back!!!!!!

so basicaly my car is crap well i guess ill give it back i saw a 97 740i ill take that one
