Question Trans Program message on 525 1994

My 1994 525 would not start with a "trans program " message. i got it to start up tuesday morning and i took it to the shop (DINAN) once it got into the parking lot, i shut the engine and tried to start it but car would not start again with the trans program message again. but when then got to my car in the afternoon to start working on it, it started fine no problem, so it told then to perform a inspection 1 service. i pickied it up yesterday, drove it to working, still same problem... anyone seen this problem?? thanks

I have that problem like a year ago and the mechanic found a problem with the gas pomp. We replace the gas pomp and the problem went away. At first I did not believe the diagnosis but is seems that if the gas pomp is not pumping enought gas, you start getting the transmission error message and sometimes the car fails to start or even stops all at the suddent.

I hope this helps, good luck.
