umm ok so has anybody heard about this new RE audio sub?? all i know so far is about 4 1/4" peak to peak xmax (like what 37mm one way?) anyways.. its supposed to be the bigger better sql woofer.. XXX SQ with more than re's MT SPL im sure.. dont know much so any info would be helpful. i think i found my next big purchase hah.
oh yeah and i could only find a couple pics http://someforum.net/RE/Picture022.jpg http://someforum.net/RE/Picture002.jpg first is next to a XXX second is by itself also check the caraudioforum.com posts they have a thread on it.. but if i could find a release date somewhere id be in heaven

yeah it's a beast
those images were first released probably 8-9 months ago, then it kind of died off for a while and is finally making a comeback. Maybe they're thinking of showing it off at CES 05?

yea its been on the net for awhile, there are excursion pics on sd now, im planning to get one myself depending on the price and how well they compare to other drivers in the price range
but so far rumors have it that it... sounds like the xxx, and it can take mt level power just a rumor, wouldn't mind something like that tho

yeah i saw those excursion pics.. those are unreal. haha have you seen the guy on caraudioforum who says hes gonna buy 4 18s for his range rover? i cant even comprehend what somebody would need that much bass in their car for. i mean ive that heard 2 XXX borders obscene... so 4 of these things just for daily bass??? good luck keeping your windows in your car and keeping any part of your hearing. seems like somebody has a little extra money.

Dave from RE posted excursion pics.....go hit up www.caraudio.com and go under the subwoofer section on there its title is sumthin like new re sub in action and the user who posted is teamPSI. Its 48mm one way xmax 4 3/4" Both ways. Will be out sometime after CES (early 2005) and will be priced about 100 bucks above the triple x line. Ohh and get this I heard the thing weighs less then a triple x....dunno the truth to that though.
