what would you like to see put on a digital camera?

What kind of things would you like to see done with the new digital cameras coming out in the future?
Like have the camera be able to record voice with your photo. Or wirelessly transmit the pics you take to your computer or base station that you could leave in your car while your out taking unlimited pics. etc...

Re: what would you like to see put on a digital camera?

I would like to have the electronics wired directly into my optic nerve.
Instant auto focus, no worries about exposure, and just think of the wide angle, or zoom with a strong telescope or binoculars.
Not to mention the ablity to make sterographic photos.

The only down side would be trying to take long exposures with out blinking or moving your head

My A80 already takes voice notes with photos, and with the increasing use of WiFi and T3 digital phones a Digi cam with a wireless connection to your PC or remote storage media will not be far away.

I like the idea of connecting it to your eye, maybe nano technology will help us acheive that.

Re: what would you like to see put on a digital camera?

I'd like to see dSLRs with bigger LCDs, optional palm/portrait grips with battery AND A 2.5" HARD DRIVE bay!!!! a cross brand standard for SLR lens mounts.... so you can use any SLR lens with any camera reguardless of canon/nikon. Let me think of some more....

beer sounds pretty good.

i'd like built in gps data in the exif tags. i know you can already get software to add the data after the fact, but it's extra hardware to carry round with you, you have to have the clocks synchronised on the camera and gps and it adds an extra stage to the workflow when you've been out taking pix.
