tranny conversion?
yea my friend is planning on getting a 3000 and he keeps on askin the stupid question of ' how much would it cost to convert the tranny from auto to stick' i tell him its cheeper to buy a whole new car but he wont let up so im just askin you guys for a round about answer... i work with nissans not mitsus.

so your friend doesn't have a 3000 yet, but is planning on getting one? and he wants to know how much to do the ATX to MTX swap? just tell him to look for a manual 3000 and quit the worrying. but if he's quite insistent, then just quote him some ridiculously outrageous price, so he'll quit worrying about it.
or maybe he want to get an ATX 3000 and do the MTX swap just for kicks and giggles? or you can read the FAQ section on this forum, or go to 3si.org. i would guess at least 1,000 for the swap...depending on how cheap you could find the tranny and other parts + labor.
