if u put a set of headers and borla 3'' exhaust system on a stock 3rd gen with 350...would it sound like a fart can or would it have enough power to still sound good until i can do more mods to it???

It would most definitly not sound like a fart can! I'm not fond of the borla catback, but to each his own.

nah.. a 350 will sound good w or w/o mods..

A catback would definatly be the first mod to do..Maybe an air intake while your at it..

yup, headers and a 3in catback sounds awesome on the 350, i have that on my IROC, just i used flowmaster american thunder parts instead of borla. i certainly have no complaints. ive even been stopped by people multiple times to ask what i did to it to make it sound so good.

No Chevy 350 with headers and a cat back such as that would EVER sound like a "fart can" I would go with a set of Hooker Long tubes and a Magna flow cat back(3 inch) or a bullet muffler
