No idea, JDM motors should have 16g, which are all TD05. T25 is a TD04, but 14b is also a TD05

Re: TD04HL? what kind of turbo is this?

well this is what someone posted on dsmtuners.com. i dont know if this sounds right.

'TDO4HL-Super 60 Compressor wheel 6CM stage 2 for the 3000 GT VR-4 and Stealth Twin Turbo produces 500cfm each. it increases compressor flow to support over 680HP. This turbo also uses the larger compressor wheel as well as the larger TDO4HL turbine wheel, not the smaller TDO4 wheel found in the factory turbo. These are direct bolt on replacements for the factory turbos and require little modification of factory snorkel pipe for installation.'

just typed it in yahoo.... i think its a 15g

well here, better LINK

Re: TD04HL? what kind of turbo is this?

if the tooners thing is true it seems like it may be a bitch to spool. but a bit more lagg for that kind of power is acceptable. but then you are FWD [assuming] so you may want to keep it down to ~400.

Re: TD04HL? what kind of turbo is this?

looks to be better than the t25 and 14b not sure about the 16g, Im not quite sure what really, never heard of it before. I would hold on to it until you can figure out more bout it.
Did this turbo come off your car. what kind of car do you have. If so where did you get the car. Did they modify anything else or what.

Re: TD04HL? what kind of turbo is this?

no ive had the car for 2 years and motor blew so i ordered a new jdm 7bolt 4g63t motor. had the new motor installed but the super 15g that was on the new motor would not adapt to anything in the car i.e. hoses lines etc. so we were forced to put the t25 from the old motor back on. so the turbo is just sitting there. i dont know anything about a 15g let alone a super15g.

Re: TD04HL? what kind of turbo is this?

i know a little about the TD04HL...when my friend got his JDM motor, it came on it...he said when he dropped his motor in and got his car running, his car pulled A LOT harder with this turbo on it than the T-25...the HL model is bigger than the T-25...i ripped mine apart along with my regular TD04...I'm thinking my regular TD04 is around the same size as the T-25...but yeah, the TD04HL is bigger than the T2small

UHM NO
If you find out how many miles are on it and if you can post some pics of it. I think I have someone that is doing a custom turbo job and looking for a turbo a little bigger than the t25.

Re: TD04HL? what kind of turbo is this?

I was just posting that as a joke. I really think you should hook it up. after all anythings better than that t25, besides the 14b has only about 3k on it
