High Idle

OK GOT THE RIGHT ECU IN...BUT HAVE A NEW PROBLEM..

WHEN I LET IT IDLE ITS FINE(IT 800-900rpms), EVEN WHEN I REV IT..

BUT ONCE THE ENGINE WARMS UP, NO MATTER HOW HIGH I REV IT, IT WILL GO BACK DWN AND STAY AT 2000RPM....UNLESS I MOVE THE TROTTLE CABLE BACK THEN IT LOWERS...ALSO DOES IT WHEN I DRIVE ONLY IF I FLOOR IT.

I CHECK ALL VACCUMS LINES ON THROTTLE BODY
AND ECU IS NOT SENDING ME ANY CODES

Re: High Idle

I had a similar problem on my old motor, turned out the spring on the throttle body had got "soft" and wouldn't close the butterfly thing inside. I cut and rebent the spring to make it tighter and that seemed to do the trick. I'd make sure you don't have any gunk built up on the inside of the tb.
