putting in a 3sgte?

I purchased a 91 na mr2, with a blown engine. I plan on buying a 3sgte jdm engine tranny and ecu off of ebay. I have gotton the axles, better fuel pump and a mass air sensor. I was just wondering what else is different, a list would be nice. I got the car cheap, 200 buck! i had to buy new fenders and a hood and bumper, and then a motor also. but i am doing the swap, definatly. Sould i by the us wiring harness and gauges, would that fix the wiring problem? will the us harness fit the jdm ecu? I just want an anwer whenever someone post this everybody yells just sell it but, NO! Let me know if you have done this swap and please send me a list and give prices of what you paid for each item. Before i jump in i want to see if i can touch the bottom.

short answer: everything is different.

get a clip's worth of stuff.

engine, tranny, ecu, wiring harness, most people just go with the entire rear clip off a turbo mr2 for the conversion.

I've not done the swap yet maybe in the future. Check out this site they sell the engine, transmission, wire harness, and ECU all together so you don’t have to get them separately. I think you would need the gauge cluster from the Turbo car for the harness to work but I'm not for sure.
