Not a real bad job...you do have to remove the complete interior part of your door..one screw behind the door handle, two screws in the handle you use to close the door from the inside, and with a trim tool or a sturdy putty knife or screw driver pop the outer edge of the interior off the door, (better if it is warm as the plastic clips are a little more brittle when cold...) Just work your way around...disconnect any electrical connections to your power windows/locks...once the hard part is done you will need a 10mm deep well socket to get to the three nuts holding the mirror...the are behind foam rubber stoppers...and presto your mirror is off, good luck

Re: replacing side view mirrors
Go 2 www.stylinconcepts.com n order sport mirrors. there cheap. more aerodynamic and hell they just look better than those bulky mirrors. one of mine got knocked off so i put some of those on. if you have manual windows like mine getting that door panel off is a pain. also a good idea is to get some lock washers. i tried installing them w/o them and they rattled loose. lock washers and now they are rattle proof!
