2004 Grand Caravan tailgate interior lights
I recently bought a used 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan from Enterprise Car Sales (part of the Enterprise Rental corporation). It only has one "courtesy" light on the inside of the tail gate. There seem to be two openings for such lights. On one side, there isn't even a cover for the opening. So I'm wondering -- is this vehicle supposed to come with two courtesy lights on the inside of the tailgate, or just one? Any help would be appreciated!

It comes with only one tailgate light but the other side of the door should have a cover where a light used to be in earlier models. Maybe you can get a cover from a wrecking yard or it shouldn't cost too much to get a new one from your dealer.

I have a 2001 G.C. and it has two lights on the tailgate
I thought that they all come this way. |

Re: 2004 Grand Caravan tailgate interior lights
My 1998 T&C had both also, but somewhere along the line, they dropped the light on the driver side of the tailgate but covered up the hole. My new 2005 T&C has only the one light. Apparently they dropped the second light in 2002 or 2003 or 2004.
