adding disc to rears
is it worth it to add disc brakes to the rear of my 93 del sol, it has no abs i dont think?
which sucks for braking on wet slopes at high speeds lol also, anyone know any reputable places in BC, Canada to do a swap out my d15 for a b16 |

Re: adding disc to rears
Some Si models didn't come with ABS. Find a Si without ABS and the rear discs should be a direct swap. You'll probably have to change the proportioning valve, and brake booster along with the entire rear wheel assembly to accomodate the discs, but it's a fairly straight-forward swap.
Not sure about shops in Canada - I'm in the southeast USA.

I'd recommend letting Honda or a shop install it.As for rear discs and stopping power, yes it should improve it but don't expect a HUGE difference. If you want some aggressive stopping power, look into an aftermarket upgrade to your OEM brakes. Slotted rotors or standard blank rotors will work just fine, and better pads will help. Or if you get wheels that can accomodate larger rotors, a big brake kit will be a big improvement with more powerful brake calipers. OEM brakes should be fine for you right now though while your D15 motor is still stock. New pads and rotors will be just fine. Once you start adding power, I would suggest improved brakes.
