Digital Dash

I have a 85 Olds Toronado that has a flickering digital dash. It works off and on. My question is, can I have a aftermarket analog speedometer installed. I can live without the fuel and temperature gauges not working, but the speedometer is a must. Any suggestions???

Chances are that the base model came with the digital dash and the upscale had actual gauges. When mine was coming off and on it was bescause of a loose connection. Check the connection first, then see if you can find anything at a junk yard that will work

Is this the "Caliente" trim package? Actually an upgrade with interior/ exterior trim.
I have an '85 Toronado Caliente with the 5.0 Olds motor and had this prob and it turned out to be a bad chassis ground.
