Will Heavy dutty radiator work on a regular 3.8 impala?

Hi I was just wondering if a Police car radiator (Heavy Dutty) would fit a regular 3.8L impala.

Thanks

I don't see why it wouldn't fit, a lot of the police impala parts fit the civilian model and the police version uses a stock 3.8L with a bigger alternator and power steering cooler...I would go to your local chevy dealer parts counter or radiator shop and ask if they have the dimensions of both to be sure.

Thanks,

Do you know what is the difference in the cooling system for Heavy dutty versus norma duty? of course, besides the radiator. I wonder if the water pump if different as well?

Nope, has the same water pump as the civilian model. The only difference is it has a power steering intercooler and a bigger radiator.
