Heartthrob Exhaust...

JCWhitney sells Heartthrob Exhaust systems for $209.95 which include all pipes, hangers, and two resonated tips.
They use mandrel bent aluminized pipe.
I was quoted $325 for the local exhaust shop to put on a dual in dual
out muffler and run pipes out the back with big stainless tips. They said a little less for running 90's out the sides with smaller tips.

I was thinking of getting the system from JCWhitney and "customizing"
it somewhat.
I was wondering if anyone knew what size pipe those systems use, and in my application, the 350 Vortec runs dual pipes all the way back to the muffler, then one out. Would it be possible to set it up with two turbo mufflers or glasspacks as TRUE dual exhaust??
And, is a crossover pipe recommended?

sorry to ramble...
any help appreciated...
