Code 7

Code 7 is throttle angle, it came up both on my PR4 and PM6... does it mean the throttle position sensor is no good? or it needs to be adjusted?

Re: Code 7

I would try adjusting it and if that doesn't make your ecu stop throwing the code then I would say it's time for a new one. Also you can check the circuit to see if it's your wires or something going bad.

Re: Code 7

sensors can go at anytime, but if you're certain that it worked before hand just check your circuit and see if it's your wires.

Re: Code 7

Well if it doesn't run bad then I would say just let it go for now, until something happens then it shouldn't be hurting anything. Maybe even pick up an air/fuel ratio gauge to see if its running lean or not.

Re: Code 7

well I would say it's time to replace your TPS then. Good luck finding one, I had to replace mine on my b16 and I went to Acura but they don't sell them individually, I would've had to buy the whole throttle body. I found one on ebay that turned out to be decent.
