How much work to changing a timming belt
I was driving and my car died its a 1990 1.9 liter escort then i noticed the timming belt was snapped is this pretty easy to replace.Do i set everything back to t.d.c. also do you know if this model is the kind cant remember the word ,but the kind that cant cause any damage if the belts breaks to the valves. THANKS MARK M. iS IT EASY TO FIX THIS MESS. THANKS

some of the 1.9's were interference, and some weren't. Changing the timing belt isn't "hard", but very time consuming. Haynes manual is your friend.
