Question got some advice?

Hey just got a 72' Corolla that's beat to hell. It was a steal. man i no its a good car if done right. I need a little advice on what i should do with it. ya no. I just need some ideas. thanks.

Drop in some mad motor that no one would expect ot be in a Corola...like an LS1 or something huge and powerful. Or if that doesnt fit, I'd try to hybrid in one of the Japanese four banges, or you could just go FI and Nitrous.

Look into what import engines would fit. This would be your best shot for making the car fast. I doubt an ls1 or similar would fit in a old rolla, or even want to be in there. Mineaswell get a new transmission with the engine, cause if it is old and "beat to hell" it would go as soon as you get the engine.

I say drop a 350 small block in there, it be a tight fit but boy that thing would haul.

Ha there have been some people that have made close to 700 or 800 hp in mr2's and it is possible to make it rwd since the motor itself is set for front or mid drive. I think it was the Top Secret Supra that had it...or maybe it was the Jun Supra either way it was really badass.
