New Fiero

i was doing a few searches on the Fiero and i came upon a concept car page based on a european car called the Opel Tigra i believe....according to the article which is a few years old GM is going to sell a rebadged version of the Opel and sell it as a Pontiac possibly renaming it the Fiero...I also saw another Fiero concept that looked sort of like a Lamborghini.....Do you guys think the Fiero will ever be revived..I think it may be a slight possbility since theres a bigger market now for small RWD cars and something needs to comete against Lotus's Elise....A possbile drivetrain could be a supercharged V-6(3800 series seems a plausible candidate) or if Pontaic really got crazy they could dump the old 5.7L LS1 with 350HP....

Re: New Fiero

Pontiac Solstice due out in late 05 or 06. No Fiero renamed in the future, no Corvair, Vega or Pinto due out either. Al of those named cars got a bad reputation when the were manufactured.
