escort build year

so my timing belt broke the other day, and i know the repair is pretty simple. unfortunetly at my local parts dealer, they asked me what the build year was. there are two different timing belts, and they match the corrosponding build year. my problem, how do i find out what build year my car is. any info would help so much.
