Hey Canadian People...help me out.

I kinda wanna move to Canada...thinking Toronto sounds good...but I dunno.

What's it like?
It expensive to live there?
Is it easy to find work? I have a culinary arts degree and quite a bit of experience...sure that wouldn't hurt...
What would I have to do as far as getting legal and stuff...if I even have to...I have NO clue what to do.

I'm kinda just looking into it. I've been thinking about it ever since the "war" started. All the "terrorism" crap and "warnings" and "threat levels" are starting to wear on me. More than anything, I think it might just be time for a change...

I was born and raised in Toronto, im at university on the east coast, right near Maine...Toronto is the most expensive city in Canada to live, but its alot cheaper than NY or LA...theres a good deal of jobs but I have no idea about the jobs with your degree but Im sure you will find one...

as for getting in I have no idea, but we seriously encourage immigration so it shouldn't be a problem... the government website is http://www.canada.gc.ca/

hope this helps a lil

Re: Hey Canadian People...help me out.

anyone who hates canada is either ignorant or american(ignorant)... i've only ever lived on the pacific side of canada, but i can tell you it's pretty sweet... you definitely won't like the winters in toronto.. things can get pretty crazy there... i'd say the best place to be is the interior of bc.... rated one of the top places to live in canada by some study that i can't recall the name of.... anyway, have lots of money when you move so when you do move, you'll become instantly rich... only downside is that there aren't that many z's up here so if you need a new one, it's a tough find.

Re: Hey Canadian People...help me out.

Ahhh God... InfestedSlowHoe is back on-board

... I still hate Canada.

I've been to Montreal quite a few times to see family... And people treat Americans so shitty there...

Almost got in a fight with some French dude...

"Eh buddy? I'll kick your arse aboot now if you don' shat your mouth!'

Haha, Ooook dude... By the way this guy was about 5'2"

(And seeming as Im about 6'6"... It was a very comical scene)
