just wonderin
okay im new here so im sorry if i sound stupid or if u guys already talked about this but i was wonderin if putting a 98 3sgte motor into a 2000 up celica is a good idea. because i admire the all tracks and just want one unique for my own. thanx

not avisable, what do you have a gt or gts? unless your lookin for upwards of 500 Hp oadn have over 10K to spend dont do it

oh well if i am going to do it i would get a gt so i would have to mess with the tanny to much but i was thinking of making it a project car... so yeah...

oh, you dont even have a celica yet? buy a gt-s 180 hp instead of the 200 youd be getting from the swap

98 3SGTE is 260 hp isn't it? But yea Im with 91 celica, better to just work on the GT-S. I was at GT live a couple weeks ago at California Speed Way. Guy had a nicely modded GT-S and rocked on the track. I don't think the 3SGTE would be handle friendly in the 7th gen, unless you are thinking strickly drag then go ahead, just remember that there is nothing easy about this swap.
