Cold Weather

Anyone know what causes my 97 shifter to get stuck in park whenever it gets colder, the colder it is the longer it takes to warm it up so that I can shift out of Park.

You're transmission fluid is probably very thick due to the cold temperature. Mabye a tranny heater?

smae thing happened to me awhile ago. Ihad a fuse under the hood that was going out . I changed it out and now it shifts fine. Might not be the same thing but its worth a look
