Autotrans problem

It has been a long time and i got the engine thing fixed, but i all still trying to fix the trannie. For some reason its stuck in 3rd or 4th gear and it takes a long time to accelerate. Some times it dies when i put it into D and start to move. I think because its putting a load on the enigne, kinda like tring to start moving a standard car in 5th. Anyways i looked at my TCM and there was a little burn spot on it. I am pretty sure this is my problem, unless one of yall might have a diffrent reason. I still cant seem to find a TCM down here.

Re: Autotrans problem

Probably the TCU/TCM. I got a brand new rebuilt (i.e. never used since rebuild) one on DSMTrader for 80 bucks.

Re: Autotrans problem

i dont think so since the trans is different. write down the part number from your tcu and make sure that whatever one you get has the same number. mitsubishigraveyard.com and dsmtrader.com would be the first place i would check.

btw i got a ecu for 100 brand new rebuildt on ebay from a place that speciallizes in auto computers
