Need Help

I have a 1997 grand prix gtp. I've had the car for only a few months and my patience is running short. There is an on goin list of problems that grows larger by the day. First off my drivers side window is stuck down. I can roll it down further but not up. Any ideas? Its getting cold in kansas. The second and most important thing is that when i excelerate to pass or just for the hell of it the car hesitates around 3000 rpm and doesnt stop till around 4000. I've talked to friends and they tell me it could be anything form the catylic converter to the injectors. Has anyone experienced this before or know what the what's goin on???

140,xxx.......hmmmmm.....has your timing chain been replaced? Chains stretch and gears wear. Your hesitation may be a related to timing.

As for the window....can you hear the motor trying to raise the window?

Re: Need Help

the hesitation problem started yesterday when some hick in a truck was tailgating me on the highway so i tapped he breaks to scare em. he gave me a love tap goin 70 so i hit it...got up to around 90 and @ 4000 rpm the rev limiter was kicking in and the SES light started blinking.

Love tap?!?!?!?!? Holy shit man, a tap from behind at 70 mph could be fatal. What is wrong with people?!?!?!

You said your SES light blinked. Take your car to AutoStoned and have them check the code. They'll do it for free.

Sounds like your window switch gave up the ghost. Pretty easy to change.

Autostoned huh? i like the sound of that. anyways...the light turned off earlier today during my lunch break. i talked to my old auto tech teacher who's been fixing cars for something like 20 years now and he told me to replace the fuel filter.
