Hope everyone here has a kickass f-body to say the least, but i was curious if anyone could help me out and give me some input on some stuff. I own a 97 formula firebird LT1 that had an engine take a shit on me, so i went to a local muscle car shop ( HI-Rev) and had them give me their 2 cents on some stuff and they suggested that i have them install the Jasper 325hp LT1. anyhow, the project is almost completed and i got two days before its ready. How sufficient is this engine, and in comparison to the WS6 and firehawk, where do i stand? anything.. please.... need outside input.. sorta new to this stuff. Thanx - Kintz

Re: Jasper 325hp LT1 over stock LT1 in 97 formula
Hey Kintz, welcome to the forum and good choice on your forum name. 325 Horsepower out of a stock LT1 is done very easily without a huge investment . I would recommend keeping what you got and going for a Cam/Head porting package with OBD1 swap with tuning if your looking for some serouis power. But if your looking for a quick jump I would do some mid-long tube headers, A catback exhaust and CAI with some gears. Trust me, you would be shocked with the difference. Good Luck.
John
