mass air flow sensor replacement, does the...
Can anyone answer this one? mass air flow sensor replacement, can the connector be replaced instead of the whole sh-bang, isn't it the the connector relays the information back to the computer. If you looks at mass air sensor how can one tell the vacuum is not working or however it runs.
This way when i got to a autowrecking place I can grab the connector and not the whole system. comments please, m f |

The MAF is basically a hot wire. The air coming in flows across the wire. The air cools it to some degree. It's the temperature change that is converted into a voltage signal back to the PCM.

that's okay, I replaced the MAF with a used one, and am getting better mileage again.
