'99 stalls- help me?

History- 99 starting stalling at start up when cold, would run when you held gas down. Per advice on forum, checked battery-okay, replaced IAC valve- seemed to fix problem for a couple days. Now I got a check engine light- code was P1294 ( Injector High side bank 2 open- Idle speed not reached). Listened to injectors w/ stethoscope, all sounded fine. Car idles , runs okay. I reset light by disconnecting battery. But now it's back to stalling intermitently. I would appreciate any direction to take. I will post results. Isn't it funny how computer can make it easy to diagnose, yet hard to fix. I guess with the high cost of dealership work we are forced to do what the mechanics do, "start replacing parts".
