Crankshaft swap question?

I was wondering if I could swap a 6 bolt crankshaft into my 4g63 7 bolt. The current crank is worn beyond repair. I hear that the 6 bolt is better for racing anyway. What will I have to do or can it be done?

Someone reply to a similar question of mine and said that you can't put a 6 bolt crank in a 7 bolt block.
Who is correct? Are all the measurements the same? Is any machine work required?
