I am installing a new set of heads to my 350. I have all the new gaskets for the install but am not sure about the proper instalation method. Are there some tricks that would help in the install. What steps should I do to make sure the job is done right the first time. Thanks for any input!!!

Re: 350 Head Installation
Always make sure the block surface is clean and the heads are clean. I use a non hardening sealant and torque to 60-70 ft.lbs.

Re: 350 Head Installation
use proper torquing process though. dont just tighten the head bolts down to 70 ftlbs. When torquing bolts you need to go in steps like: 25ftlbs to all the bolts(in proper sequence), 50ftlbs, then 75 ftlbs. You can warp the heads if you dont do this.
