engine block care
Just got my 4.6 out of machine shop. will be awile before i get the rest to put back together. What can I do to keep it from rusting?

squirt it down with marvel mystery oil, coat the cylinders and cam bearings with pre-lube.

Be sure to replace all of the freeze plugs including the four in the front of the block. You could use WD-40 on the block also

Yeah freeze plugs were replaced when the block was done. I am going to rubb it down and wrap it with plastic.
