I have a 92 k1500 and it wont idle below 1200 rpms , also my a/c light blinks indicating something is wrong with it , could the two problems be related?

Re: high idle

A high idle is most likely a vacuum leak. On my 90 K1500 when I had a high idle, it was the TBI gasket. You can verify this by spraying TB cleaner at the back of TBI while running. If the idle changes, you have a leak.
