Hi, im new here and was wondering...

what can i do to make my 95 3.4L Camaro faster?

a list of parts that can be easily installed would be nice.
also, some of the parts that would be cheapest to obtain.

Re: Hi, im new here and was wondering...

there's a good amount of bolt-on options for the 3.4, it really depends on how serious you want to get with the car.

the abridged version:
cold air intake from slp
some form of cat-back exhaust (i like magnaflow)
ignition upgrades like wires, plugs, and coils
you can get an underdrive pulley from ASP
im looking into an MSD system
comp cams well...cam
your general port and polish
if you are hard core you can get the 1.8 rockers from slp
and then there's stuff like rear-axle swaps and weight reductions...

Re: Hi, im new here and was wondering...

my quick list.. we all have our own versions...

K&N FIPK (in my opinion the best CAI on the market)
RKSport Ceramic Coated Headers
High Flow Catalytic Convertor
Cat-back exhaust (in agreement that Magnaflow is the best there, its what i have)
plugs, wires,
MSD ignition
3.42 gears are pry what i would recommend
Torsen makes a good 3 series limited slip
then get into the engine, rockers, lifters, etc.
Comp Cams and Crane both make a cam for the 3.4L
underdrive pulley
hypertech programmer..
TransGo shift kit
B&M electronic shift improver

theres more stuff you could do.. but thats just a long pricey list to get you started.. in my opinion its cheaper and easier to just freakin buy a v8.. which i know some of you cant do, i could when i got my car either, so i saved and now im on the verge of buying a nice trans am...

check out FirebirdV6.com for anything you'll ever need to know about v6 f-bodies..

Re: Hi, im new here and was wondering...

he's got it, if you want to seriously go fast then sell your car and get a v-8 car. if you dont want to do that, then we can help you out and get you on your way. you're prolly never gonna get out of the higher 14s at the very very very best.
